Erik Goodwynn, MD, MS

Dr. Erik Goodwyn is a board certified psychiatrist who joined Billings Clinic in 2021. He went to medical school at the University of Cincinnati and completed his psychiatry residency at Wright State University in Dayton Ohio. He is an associate professor of psychiatry at the University of Louisville where he served as the course director for multiple courses in psychodynamic psychotherapy, and supervisor for long term psychotherapy.  He has published in the fields of psychodynamic theory, trauma, the psychology of religion, the application of ritual scholarship to psychotherapy, and the philosophy of mind. At Billings Clinic he works as an outpatient psychiatrist and faculty member for the Montana Track.
