Amy Schuett, MD, FAPA

Amy Schuett, MD, FAPA is a Geriatric and Adult Psychiatrist.  She received her Bachelor of Arts  and Medical Degree at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.  She completed her residency and fellowship at the combined University of Nebraska Medical Center and Creighton of Psychiatry combined program.  She has a vast history in psychiatry working at a State Regional Center,  Regional Crisis Stabilization Unit, County Center for Mental Health with adult inpatient, partial care and outpatient services.  She has worked as an consultant at several correctional facilities in Nebraska and Montana.   She has specialized in Women’s health at the Methodist Women’s Hospital in Omaha, NE working with pregnant and postpartum women in mental health crisis while medically hospitalized and  consulting to the pelvic pain and sexual wellness specialty providers and therapists.  She runs the Electronic Convulsive Treatment program at Billings Clinic.  She works with the opioid task force.  She is a consultant to medical and surgical floors and is an attending and former Medical Director of the Adult Inpatient Unit.    She remains advocate of teaching psychiatry to others by precepting for 3 medical school and many Nurse practioner students.   She is Board Certified in Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry.
